Telegram 3.0 for iOS devices
The second product of Pavel Durov – Russian messaging app Telegram – has released its version 3.0 for iOS devices. We have already told you about the Bot Platform but the Apple Watch version is worth a separate article.
According to the development team, the app allows viewing the recent dialogues and replying to messages using stickers, locations, send emoji, phrases from a preset list or even dictating a text of the message. Users can also view single user or group profiles, start new dialogues or even block other users.
What Telegram can do on Apple Watch
The team of the Russian Telegram messenger assures that the dialogues will show all of the content available in the messenger: locations, stickers, photos, videos, and documents. For cases, which Apple Watch can’t handle, there is a button that will transfer the message into the iPhone, so you can work with it there.
The post in the Russian Telegram’s blog also says that the developers have ensured that Russian Telegram for Apple Watch performs as much as currently is supported by the platform and that Russian Telegram does more than any other communication app.
Telegram’s “success”
Considering the fact that all the functionalities proudly described by the Telegram developers had been created by Apple for its own iMessage app (this is clear from the video tours about messages and the product), we find it hard to be overjoyed at Russian Telegram’s success. The same goes for making any comments as to Russian Telegram having more functionalities than other messaging apps.
