 Wire implemented Giphy

Wire messenger has been using animated GIF-images for a long time. This option is very popular among its users, sond the developers decided to make things even simpler. They have implemented Giphy – a service for searching for animated GIF images – into Wire.

To use the new functionality, do the following:

1. Type a word in the course of a conversation. You will see a ‘GIF’ icon – tap it.
2. A preview of a GIF image found by Giphy will appear. If you do not like the search result, tap the Refresh button in the top left corner.
3. You can refresh the image until you are satisfied with what you see. Then you can insert the image into the conversation.

The Giphy update on Wire is available for Android and iOS users. Therefore, you can download it either on the App Store or on the Google Play.
