Way back in 2003, Janus Friis and Niklas Zennström founded Skype Technologies. Skype softare company has gone through several build up stages. First, it was under the wing of eBay, afterwards with the Silver Lake Fund. Eight years after its foundation, Skype was bought by the giant Microsoft for $8.5 billions. This event can be considered as the new starting point of the reborn messenger.
