From 2000 until 2004, Carrelli worked as a Marketing Director in Managed Objects (a company later bought by Novell). There he made the largest contribution to developing the Business Service Management concept.

After that, he was employed by Nexus GT (previously known as TradeCard), a company with a multibillion turnover, where he was the Director of Product Marketing and Communications fields. Thanks to Carrelli, in 2005 the corporation increased its revenue by 100% compared to the previous year.

In 2005, he founded The Carrelli Group and ran it until 2009. This large consulting organization advised CEOs, heads of sales and CMOs, including ones from the Fortune 500 list.

From 2009 to 2011, Carrelli was the Chief Marketing Officer in Intermedia. He succeeded in promoting this company in the market, dominated by Google and Microsoft.

From 2011 to 2015, he was the CEO at KeKu that developed a service for making cheap calls. Since March 2015, he has been the Board Chairman in it.

From 2012 until now, Manlio Carrelli has also been CEO at Unison Technologies.

In 2014, he was appointed a CEO in his own company Wiper, Inc, that developed Wiper, a secure communications app.

Wiper is a highly secure messaging app. At any time, a user can enable the option of clearing message history and it will permanently disappear from his and his chat partner’s smartphone.

Apart from sending text messages, the app also allows HD quality audio calls.

The software company assures that audio calls are also properly encrypted.

The service does not support stickers or locations. Nor does it offer video calls.

A strong point of Wiper is that users are able to share and listen to music; they can also exchange bitcoins.

Currently the app runs only on Android and iOS devices.
