iPhone and iPad owners can already get their hands on Viber’s latest update.
With the advent of the app’s most recent update, users got an opportunity to reply to messages without actually opening the app. To elaborate, interactive notifications enable us to answer messages directly from the lock screen, banner or notification center. However, only iOS 9 and above devices support the innovation for the moment. The update also provides users with the Spotlight feature that employs Apple’s search engine to look through your contacts and messages.
The highlight of the update is actually the fact that users can now exchange various types of media. Viber users are welcome to send out documents, presentations, archives and other file types.
Furthermore, the app’s been linked to the iCloud service. This means that users are free to take advantage of the provided cloud storage and share media from it.
Last but not least, Viber’s supporters will be able to delete sent messages, even if they’ve already been read by the recipient.
Viber 5.6.5 can already be downloaded for free from the App Store.
