Viber messaging app has come out with a new updated version for Android smartphones. Developers claim that the app includes ‘cool new features that enhance overall user experience’.
This smug marketing move is actually concealing:
- Group icons. From now on, you can personalize each group chat by setting an image as the group icon.
- Improved photo sending. Send more than one photo at a time, seamlessly and smoothly.
- Video calls in tablets. Android tablets support video calls between Viber contacts.
Of course, we can’t say that the developers have done the impossible, but the update is, indeed, significant and interesting. Moreover, if you consider the fact that summer has only just kicked off, face-to-face video calls, improved photo exchange and group convos couldn’t have come at a better time.
