The popular Japanese messaging app is confirming its reputation of “more than just a messaging app”.
Along with the version 5.00, LINE becomes more of a social network than an IM service.
Now you can publish any post on your timeline and let it be visible to everyone.
What’s more, just like in Facebook or Instagram, you can post something on your friend’s timeline. Naturally, this goes with likes, comments, and reposts.
To use this function, just click the globe in the Share to section:
The Line blog offers One Me option for keeping a diary or writing notes. Why not indeed. Although, if it is not the major app, Evernote, or similar apps, would be much easier to use.
This update is pretty obvious, since last week Line announced LINE@ – for Business – an app with similar functions.
