Twitter now has night mode for Android

After a short period of testing, Twitter announced it is launching a night mode feature on Android.

It is quite simple to turn on the night mode. All you have to do is to access the slide-out navigation menu of the app. Right above the Settings option, you will see a slider for turning the feature on and off. The feature will not trigger automatically depending on the time of the day or based on your phone’s display brightness. Once turned on, the deep blue color scheme will replace the white background of the app and the text will change from black to white.

There is no need for Twitter users to download the update to access the new feature. All you need to do is remove the app from the recently opened section and run it again.

The feature is rolling out now to Android and is not available yet for the iOS, although it seems iOS users will not have to wait long for it to appear.
